Psychotherapy

Dr. Randy Cotton has extensive expertise in a range of areas related to mental health, self-care, and relational functioning.  With focuses on depression and anxiety problems, attachment and relationship issues, and the lifelong impacts of childhood trauma and maltreatment, Dr. Cotton offers individuals and families help in overcoming these challenging issues and improving the quality  has helped countless individuals overcome these challenging issues and improving their quality of their lives.  In addition to his work with adults, Dr. Cotton specializes in working with children who are experiencing these and other child mental health and development problems.  Given his experience in working with parents, he can help families develop healthy communication patterns and help bui9ld stronger relationships.  Dr. Cotton is also a Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) practitioner.  With a warm and compassionate approach, Dr. Cotton is dedicated to helping clients achieve their goals and lead fulfilling lives. Consultation Services

In addition to having taught graduate level courses in Consultation and Collaboration, Dr. Cotton provides Consultation Services as part of his current practice.  He has provided education, training, and consultation services for varied human service groups including: churches and other faith-based agencies, residential child-caring agencies, child protection agencies, youth courts and law enforcement agencies, and educators.  He has addressed a myriad of topics, such as, child development and mental health topics, parenting and child rearing practices, behavior management and intervention strategies, burnout prevention, compassion fatigue, secondary trauma, and the impacts of trauma and maltreatment across the lifespan.  Dr. Cotton is available to consult regarding these and other topics.  Additionally, he can customize services according to your needs.  Dr. Cotton is also a Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) practitioner.
