Randy Cotton, Ph.D.

Meet Dr. Cotton

Dr. Randy Cotton has provided psychotherapy to children, adolescents and adults in both acute inpatient and outpatient settings. Additionally, he has provided clinical supervision for others training in doctoral clinical psychology. Dr. Cotton has also taught psychology at both the undergraduate and graduate level, including serving as adjunct professor in Psychology at Mississippi College since 1999. Dr. Cotton has directed programs in both inpatient treatment and residential child-caring environments. Additionally, he has served as a consultant with several agencies, including child protection agencies, medical surgical hospitals, inpatient treatment centers, and evangelistic and social outreach programs. He has also made multiple educational and training presentations in human service and mental health provider communities.

Education and Training

Dr. Cotton earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Southeastern Louisiana University. He earned his Master of Science degree in Psychology, and his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Clinical Psychology from The University of Southern Mississippi. He completed his Professional Psychology Internship at The University of Tennessee, Professional Psychology Internship Consortium.
